Marilyn C. Childs was a longtime teacher, journalist, and Morgan Horse enthusiast. She had a strong commitment to education and community especially involving youth. Polly S. Quinn was an active and dedicated member of the Hinesburg, VT community, a tireless supporter of the Morgan Horse and a selfless volunteer. She always supported and encouraged youth throughout her life.
Purpose: This scholarship is to promote and encourage the participation of children (suggested ages 6-14) in the Morgan Horse throughout Vermont and beyond. Amount: To be awarded by the MHHF scholarship committee. Available scholarship funds will be announced at the Annual meeting of the MHHF in March of each year. Eligibility: Any child participating in a riding camp, event or lesson program that features the Morgan horse -suggested ages 6-14. Application: All applications must be received by May 1st of each year for that year’s events.
